SUBJECT: THE GAME PLAN

HAVE YOU EVER PLAYED A GAME WITH SOMEONE WHO CONSTANTLY CHANGED THE RULES TO BE IN HIS OR HER OWN FAVOR?  WELL THAT'S EXACTLY WHAT YOUR ENEMY DOES IN THIS GAME OF LIFE.  HE IS CONSTANTLY BREAKING RULES AND THEN SCREAMING "NO FAIR!  NO FAIR!"  AND BECAUSE YOU DON'T WANT TO PLAY LIKE HIM YOU ARE TRYING YOUR BEST TO KEEP HIS RULES.  ENOUGH!   

THE GAME PLAN HAS BEEN ESTABLISHED.  YOU ARE THE WINNER BECAUSE YOU HAVE THE CHAMPION FOR YOUR COACH.  WIN!

THE GAME PLAN

There have been many testimonies of NFL Christians who say that when they were hired to play professional football, after the celebrating was over the Coach had a heart to heart talk with the new player and told him that the Play Book would either be his best friend or his worst enemy.  The Coach told them that they would have to live and breathe the Play Book.  There could be no play, in that book, with which the new player was not familiar.  

The new aspiration of the new player was to know that Play Book forward and backwards. Because the ultimate goal was for the team to WIN.  Everyone knows that the two teams face off and use their strategic planning to accomplish their greater ends.  But, no matter how hard the two teams play there will be a winner and a loser.  

EVERYONE WANTS TO WIN!

Christians, we also have a Play Book - The BIBLE; We have a  Head Coach - Jesus; We have an Owner - GOD.  We have an advantage - The Holy Spirit.   We have a race to run,  and a War to win.  There is an old truth often spoken...Read the back of the book, and you'll see that we WIN!  Now, to some, it  doesn't seem that Christians have any advantage over this world's system, but their ignorance is our bliss; Because knowing the truth has made us free of the encumbrances  that would tackle and even run with the ball.  Knowing this, we have a higher responsibility to, READ THE ‘PLAY BOOK!'  Our very lives are dependant on our absorptions of our Play Book - The  BIBLE.  

Most games are played for a prize; This one is no different.  The Prize is... ETERNAL LIFE.   (Paul said: "I press toward the mark for the ‘prize' of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.) [ Phil. 3:14]   


In Professional Football, the Owner wants to win as many games as possible, because he knows that his team would then go to the top of the NFL.   GOD, however, intends that all races be run; Battles fought; Situations over come, and Wars; WON.  He knows the game plan of the enemy and therefore knows how to defeat him.  The only objective that GOD has, is to teach His Children, His participants, to TRUST THE PLAY BOOK!   That's why He sent Jesus, as our coach, and allowed Him to suffer the anguish of being in a clay body, so that we could mimic His way of living.  Jesus, after He had completed His term on earth, left us the Holy Spirit, who leads and guides us to the Winners Circle...EVERY TIME!

Just a thought: If the enemy decided to infiltrate our camp and take our Play Book - Bible, we wouldn't have to worry about that person being an enemy anymore.  He would then be one of us.  You can't read the enemies Play Book and still play the game the same way.    Thus the importance of Reading [YOUR] Play Book - BIBLE.  

GOD intends to WIN!  GOD has already WON!  God won through the sacrificial suffering, death, burial, and resurrection of  Jesus Christ...  Our responsibility is to walk in that which has already been done.

There is no ‘Fairness' in this Game of Life, only Justification...and only GOD can justify.  The enemy can't play fair, so how can he justify?     In the Book of Psalms the 51st chapter GOD reports through David:..."Against You , You only have I sinned and done this evil in your sight that You may be found just when You speak and blameless when You judge" [Psalms 51:4] This scripture tells us that there is no sin against others, other people, or other Nations.  The sin is always against GOD!  Therefore our repentance and right standing comes from GOD and Him only.  

This is where the "Game" comes into being.  The Enemy makes you think that if you just apologize  to people or a person, you are exonerated.  This type of shucking and jiving; slipping and hiding keeps you in the sinners circle.  GOD wants pure honesty from all of His Children so that we can walk in the light as He is the Light.  Thus, "The Game of Life" is won.

No more checker flags; no more whistles to stop the play, we've carried the ball over the last goal line; no more boxing gloves to lace, we've fought our last fight and won; no more battles to fight... The War has been won!  And all the Enemy can do is look at the Church Triumphant, with ‘Play Books' no longer in hand, but embedded in their hearts; their hands raised; white garments flowing; encumbrances of every kind falling away; as they rise up to meet their Coach,   JESUS CHRIST, through the Power of the Holy Spirit.  And bands of thousands will now meet and greet the Owner GOD; and He will announce, "WELL DONE THY GOOD AND FAITHFUL SERVANT!"

God doesn't need a‘ GAME PLAN' for a game that's already won!

There is a shooter out there shooting randomly at anyone.  Church, you must pray!  You can't be passive about this evil, nor any other.  This act is aimed at blanketing the Nation with more fear and terror.  BUT GOD!  When you see or hear about these evils...PRAY!  Pray that GOD will intervene and the persons or person whom the Enemy is using will be stopped in his tracks.  Just Pray!

This month is, The Enemies holiday...Halloween.  Prepare your children not to take "tricks or treats" from strangers. ....When you celebrate a holiday, you also consent to its purpose.  Halloween's purpose is to lift up ‘witchcraft'.

I have observed it, and I'm sure that you have also.  It seems that the wicked are very prosperous, that the more wicked they are the more that they prosper.  But!  As David said: "He shall deliver the needy when he  crieth , the poor also and him that hath no helper."[ Psalms 72:12.]  
And what we have to remember is that our wealth is laid up for us where the moths can't corrupt  and the rust can't  corrode.  We must grow beyond what we can see and yearn for that which is incorruptible.  When you look back on the lives of old saints gone by, you have to remember the Peace; Love; Patience; and Faith that was paramount in their lives.  

That's what others called lackadaisical, but that same characteristic is what GOD calls FAITH.  They were able to overcome huge obstacles in their lives only by the Word of their Testimony, and the Blood of the Lamb.  

I'm sure that many times you probably got tired of Grandma's testimony.  But she was letting you know about the Mercie's and Faithfulness of GOD.
