CHRISTMAS 2011
MIRACULOUS!
Read: Luke 1 (KJV)
Christmas always brings with it, doubters and those who are determined to
make the Word of GOD untruth. It is supposed that Mary the virgin was only
a young
woman, and that, of course, would allow for the untimely birth of a child
born out of wedlock rather than the birth of Our LORD and Savior, Jesus Christ.
All events surrounding this birth are purported to be coincidental; but what
if, rather than coincident we are looking at Miraculous?
The following events do not fall into the category of coincidence, but rather
the MIRACULOUS!
An Angel named Gabriel visited a virgin named Mary (v.26).
Mary and Joseph, her espoused husband had lineage that could be traced back
to Adam (v. 27). It is very important that Our Savior be of the Royal House
of David, as it was written.
Gabriel told Mary how GOD felt about her, her purpose and the purpose of the
Child that she would bear (vv.28-35).
Gabriel also told Mary about her cousin Elizabeth who had been barren, and
was now with child (vv.36, 37). Note: There were neither phones, nor cell
phones
in that day.
Mary submitted to the words of Gabriel, which was the Word of GOD (v.38).
Mary visited Elizabeth, and as soon as Elizabeth heard the voice of Mary,
the baby leaped in her womb (vv. 40, 41) . . . Miraculous. Elizabeth had carried
this baby 6 months without any movement, but when the voice of the Mother
of Jesus was heard, the reason for the life of John the Baptist was set into
motion. (Not a coincident.)
Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to prophesy to Mary regarding
what the Angel had said to Mary and her child (vv.42-45). Note: How did
Elizabeth know?— Miraculous!
Mary began to speak, and this is one of the only times that the Mother of
Jesus speaks, and it is while she is pregnant with her pregnant cousin, Elizabeth,
in the Presence of the Power of the Holy Spirit of GOD (vv.46-56).
Where the Spirit of GOD is, there is Life (Revelation 11:11).
Jesus is asking you for a Miraculous life. Not one that you have to read about,
but one that you can have a first-hand experience with. One that you only
have to begin to understand by reading a Bible Tract; or turning on a television
set at just the right time; or attending a Church service where you know
the Spirit of the Living God is in charge; or praying a prayer that may go
something like this: "God if you’re really out there, reveal yourself
to me.";
maybe something might come over your radio at just the right time, where you
know that couldn’t be a coincidence; or any other one of the simple things
in life that God is able to work through on you behalf . . . with reading
the Bible itself as the most likely resource of all combined experiences.
The greatest time of the year for you to look at this divine extraordinary
birth is right upon you. This is the true meaning of Christmas.
There exist another birth that makes the birth of Jesus Christ clear, lucid,
and comprehensible; and that’s where Jesus makes a claim to come into your
life and live an eternal life through you ("Ye must be born again "
John 3:3).
This Christmas there will high levels of giving and receiving all over the
world. Why not allow God to give you the greatest GIFT He could ever give
you,
and through that GIFT, you will be given a brand new life that will keep on
giving till you reach eternity.
Merry Christmas!
God Bless,
