T.J.I.F.A.
THANK JESUS IT'S FRIDAY AGAIN!
DECEMBER 6TH 2002
PASS IT ON... & ON... & ON... & ON.
SUBJECT: LOOKING FORWARD
T.J.I.F.A. ALWAYS ENDS WITH THE PHRASE "Looking Forward." Just to enhance it's meaning this week we examine the meaning of the writers. We hope that our meaning is somewhat similar or familiar to your understanding also.
Noteworthy:
Explains that T.J.I.F.A. will be on sabbatical for approximately five (5) weeks; but GOD willing we'll be back full steam in January around the third Friday.

LOOKING FORWARD
We all learned, as children, to look forward to Christmas. This habit was easily accepted because of the joy that is experienced on Christmas Day. The older you get, the more the experience becomes yours to give rather than to receive. If you have the right understanding, you will find that being the one who is in the seat of the giver is even more exciting.
Going to school every day can be hard. Not only for the College student, but for High School and other grades also. Remembering some of the cold and treacherous days that we had to walk in the snow, our hands cold and barely able to carry the books another step. The only thing that could keep us from going back, was ‘Looking Forward' to getting out of the cold, that day; and eventually getting out of school, on graduation day.
Just as we endured hardships for a time to win the prize of graduating, we must also endure as a good soldier the everyday encumbrances of life to win. We can go through many things, if we know in our hearts that we have a reward at the end of our present day's sufferings.
It is a great wonder to many, how great men and women have gone through . What I have noticed about them, is that they have a vision or promise that causes them to pull through each day, hour by hour, minute by minute. In Documentaries, I've noticed some of the same consistent persistence. No matter what others, without the dream, may have said, the inventor or great person keeps going on.
The driving force within seems to have been the ability to... "Look Forward!"
For example: Alexander Graham Bell - Invented the Telephone.
Thomas A. Edison - The light bulb
George Washington Carver - Over a thousand uses for the peanut
Henry Ford - The Model-T Ford
Einstein - Theory of Relativity
Bill Gates - The Micro Soft Network which has put PC's in the everyday home;
And a host of others.
Just as the child looks to Christmas, these stouthearted people look forward to a time and a moment that their invention or plan will benefit the lives of many.
As Christians, GOD has placed in our hearts the ability to ‘look forward' and far beyond our present days circumstances. We can't allow the past to keep us from attempting that which GOD has placed in our hearts. We can't allow the present to entangle our feet to the point that we become immobile. When we accept a ‘charge' there isn't any other way to go but, ‘ FORWARD!'
Only use your past to further enhance your future. Your past can remind you of how you overcame other obstacles that, at the time, seemed insurmountable.
Many people say that there isn't a pronounced way in the Bible. That's not so! GOD has shown us through His Prophets the only absolute way. He has made it sure, that we really can't error, unless we want to do so. He showed His people that they would have a Savior, Jesus Christ; but they refused Him. Now He is telling us that He is soon to come. And the greatest error would be to refute the truth and continue in our own understanding and ways. If we believe, we will ‘look forward' to a time when Jesus comes back and rules as our King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
In order to do that, we can't look back to when Witch Craft was beneficial. (Or so we thought.) We can't look back to when sacrificing our bodies and our children meant that we would prosper. (Or so we thought.) We can't continue to work our bodies, which is the Temple of GOD, until we are in poor health, just to satisfy our own lusts. We can't afford to continue to raise our children according to the rules of the same society which will take them from us and use them to satisfy their own rapidly growing, insatiable appetites and cravings for disorderly conduct. Sin.
We are told to "Pray always..." in Ephesians 6: The act of Prayer is an act of moving forward into a time and place that you haven't been or asking for repentance for a time that has been. Prayer is never just in one place, it constantly moves.
Commit yourself to Prayer and you'll commit yourself to "Looking Forward!" And in looking forward you'll be like the children mentioned in the beginning of this Newsletter. You'll be in constant anticipation of what GOD is doing in your life; your neighborhood; your state and country; and what He's doing in Heavenly Places. What a Day of Jubilee!
Looking Forward
See Ya Next Time

NOTEWORTHY:
The month of December will mark the beginning of the time of Sabbatical for TJIFA. The last Newsletter for this year will be on the week of December 15th. On the 22nd TJIFA will send you a Christmas Card, then See Ya Next Year around the third Friday of January.
TJIFA takes this time to rearrange and sort out the comments that you have so graciously given and to possibly add new events to our program.
TJIFA appreciates all of your support and your prayers. In advance...Thank You!
In The Mirror:
I would like to use this time to request the prayers of the saints. This is a undertaking that can only remain successful with the undergirding that you have continually been giving us, and we deeply thank you, as well as appreciate you for being there. I find myself with the personal desire to share much, but struggle with the ability to bring out the powerful truths that God has given through much prayer, studies, and devine revelations by His Spirit. My personal conviction is that there has never been a greater need for the truth then what we are faced with in the day and age in which we live. I totally and sincerely believe in the writings and the work of TJIFA to bring to the ‘Body of Christ' the redeeming message that we cannot only use now, but we can rest assured that we can take it into all of Eternity, because when you "try the spirit, by the spirit", you will find it to be God's message to the Church.
