JUST? . . . LIVE BY FAITH!
Hebrews 10:38,39 Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him. But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul.
Who are "The Just?" Have you ever wondered IF you are ‘Just'? Who is justified and in right standing with GOD? Is it possible for an average Christian to actually be called ‘justified?'
Definition: JUSTIFICATION Process by which an individual is brought into an unmerited, right relationship with a person, whether that relationship is established between people or with God.
By this definition a ‘just' person stands in RIGHT relationship to another. For our working understanding, we're looking at relationship to GOD, through Jesus Christ.
There are many voices making their presence well heard today . . . Many agendas which have nothing to do with "Jesus Christ." In fact, many of these voices are urging Christians to turn from our stoic viewpoint and include or join their ‘life styles'. Their agendas are temporary and without eternal promise. It offers pleasure without measure, but in reality, can only serve fantasy and fiction. (Lies)
The enemy has made it his consistent obligation to keep up a smoke screen preventing the Christian from understanding his real position with GOD through Christ Jesus. If he can make you think of yourself as OUTSIDE of the veil ‘WHICH WAS RENT FROM TOP TO BOTTOM AFTER Jesus' sacrificial death on Calvary, then he can entice you to leave your new position in exchange for his foolishness. This significant event gave each Christian direct access to Almighty GOD. But…GOD has given us Jesus. "Then said he, Lo, I come to do thy will, O God. He taketh away the first, that he may establish the second. 10By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all." Hebrews 10:9,10.
There were two men, who looked alike, one was a prince and the other a pauper. The prince watched the pauper from his lofty window, and frequently wondered why the pauper seemed so happy.
One day he commanded his royal subjects to go and get the pauper . When the pauper was summoned to the king, he, also, saw the extreme resemblance. The prince dismissed his subjects and began to quiz the pauper about his apparent blissful life.
They eventually CHANGED PLACES. The pauper became lazy. He no longer had to exercise his faith to live. On the other hand the prince found a life full of love and joyous expectation. He met the parents of the pauper, who taught him "THE FAITH."
The pauper knew that his time to live in the lap of luxury was soon coming to an end. He began to long for just a little more time. He spent his last few hours trying to think up a way to extend this wonderful experience. He looked and saw the prince coming back to the castle, around him were the pauper's friends. The prince was bringing his friends to the castle. He had something in his hand, which seemed to be quite precious.
The pauper ran and sat on the throne, his robes furling behind him. The excited prince approached the throne with his gift. The prince was so excited that he didn't notice the pauper's defiant posture. The prince opened the gift, and presented it to the pauper. "Here is something from your mother." He happily announced. "It's a bowl of your favorite soup. I can see why you like it. It's wonderful."
The pauper remained silent. Loudly, the pauper shouted. "Get out! No! You may not have my throne." The royal guard heard the commotion, ran in and seized the prince. The pauper screamed. "Take him and his ragged friends out and never let them in again!" The guards were dragging the prince to the entrance when, the prince whispered a word. The guards immediately released the prince and pounced on the pauper.
They assisted the prince to his throne and shackled the pauper. The bound pauper begged mercy from the prince. The prince spoke to the pauper. "What happened to your faith? Your faith should have kept you through this experience. Your parents, who taught me Hebrews 10:23, says: "Let us hold fast of our profession of FAITH without wavering ." Were you ever in right standing with GOD through Jesus? I thought I learned from your parents and friends. But the real lesson was this one that you have engraved into my understanding. Once you have received this free gift, to deliberately turn your back on it, is synonymous with "Falling into the hands of the living GOD."
Your friends have all been given positions in the castle. Your mother is my special cook. Your father, now has a furniture shop making furniture for the castle. You, were to be my special friend, and continue learning and teaching me "The Faith." But now, you must spend time in the dungeon, and when your time is complete, you will be cast out . . . never to approach the castle again." The prince signed the paper, and the pauper was dragged away begging for mercy. TER
Christian, when you become ‘just' (receiving Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior.) Don't ever allow the world or some lustful addiction to pull you away. It would be better for you NOT to have known Him, than to know Him and turn away.
GOD said that there would be many trials and temptations, but, He also said that there is no temptation subject to man that He hasn't given us a means of escape. That tells us that once we are justified, our justification will keep us living by faith in His promise" . . . Whosoever believeth in Him, shall not perish, but have everlasting life." John 3:16.

FRIDAY'S WORD:
PERDITION Describes the eternal state of death, destruction, annihilation, or ruin.
Old Testament Words of the family from which perdition is derived usually relate to a state of physical rather than moral or religious destruction. Perdition is held in contrast to the blessing of God. It is the penalty for disobedience (Deut. 22:24; 28:20). The Old Testament sometimes links this term to the concept of Sheol (2 Sam. 22:5; Ps. 18:4).
New Testament Perdition is the fate of all who do not come to repentance. The way that leads to this destruction is broad in contrast to the narrow road which leads to life (Matt. 7:13). Perdition, as used in the New Testament, does not convey the idea of simple extinction or annihilation. Set into the context of eternity, the Gospel writers used it to mean an everlasting state of death and judgment. Just as surely as salvation expresses the idea of eternal life, so perdition designates a hopeless eternity of destruction. The phrase "son of perdition" describes the person who has fallen victim to this destruction (compare Judas in John 17:12). The "man of sin" is doomed to perdition (2 Thess. 2:3). A form of this word is used in Revelation 9:11 to describe the ultimate enemy of God—the Destroyer. IN THE MIRROR:
"FACT: OVER 50% of today's health advise is wrong and obsolete! This Bulletin alerts you to 7 current health notions that are so off-track, they're dangerous. I'm giving you this early heads-up because the official news probably won't come for many years. Here's the story . . ."
This was copied from an advertisement article I received in the mail, and I'm positive I'm not ready to confirm or deny the article or its proponents on either side, but I am positive that if you and I try hard enough we can find something in this advertising that will bolster our faith in something we know that's neither "wrong or obsolete".
How many of you said we're getting ready to talk about the Bible? You TJIFA readers are getting harder to fool aren't you?
Facts are a very important part of life, and must be found reliable if they're going to be of any substantial help to us. Considering the multifarious make-up of man, its fair to say you will never come up with a "exact science" in which one product is going to be a panacea when you look at the natural chemistry of man, or humanity for that matter.
On the other hand, there exist a spiritual dimension of man, and a God that has a impressive ‘track record' concerning the affairs of mankind. Some of the questions in the front of my Bible are: "Is there a God?; What is He like?; Why was mankind created in the first place?; Why is man so noble, yet so weak and sinful, all at the same time?; What can be done about it?; How should people behave?; Does history have any meaning?; Is it heading anywhere?" . . . etc.
I can't imagine a one of us that wouldn't desire to have the ‘facts' when made available to us, but the FACT I wish to leave with you today is that man has to put his statistics and all his findings on a percentage level, while making sure he leaves room for skepticism and uncertainty; yet in John 3:16 you'll find a 100% truth about God's Love for you; and that's a FACT!!!!
