Subject: Real Tragedy 2
This week we continue to look at the tragedy of September 11, 2001.  It is a day that all Americans and other Nations will remember for decades to come.  It is not a subject to be taken lightly by Christians seeing as how our belief system was being targeted by the enemy on that day.

It is my sincere hope that readers will see the importance of a life of Prayer and Fasting and witnessing thus bringing light into a very dark world.

Noteworthy: This week is an article by SLC regarding' Positive People'.

THE REAL TRAGEDY 2

Last week we settled that prayerlessness in the Church or Body of Jesus Christ is the real tragedy, when placed up against all of the man made tragedies.   The reason being that prayer through Jesus Christ, to God Our Father, will bring results.  Whether the results are saving physical bodies or the Salvation of saving Souls.

One thing that is to be mentioned in the light of tragedy is that when you are a Christian, no man can take your life.  Your life is sealed in Christ.  "To live is Christ, and to die is gain.["Phil.1:21].  So then you must ask along with the Apostle Paul..".Death where is your sting and grave where is your victory?"[1 Cor.15:55]   This brings us to the understanding that the foundation is extremely important.

When the Towers were hit in New York, was supposed, by the enemy,  that many more thousands of people would be killed or maimed, but because of the foundations of these monumental buildings and its great construction, these huge skyscrapers just rocked and swayed giving many thousands time to escape the oncoming destruction.      And when they did finally succumb to the onslaught, unlike what everyone thought -even the enemy, these giants on the sky line of New York, collapsed.  One floor after the next like pancakes imploded upon one another.   They didn't fall on New York and flatten everything in front of them.     That is a MIRACLE!   It also speaks volumes about the construction.  And the foundation  which held  tons upon tons of brick, mortar, steel, dry wall, fixtures, computers, desks, chairs bathroom facilities, elevators and thousands of pounds of paper.
Though the remains of the two Towers have been taken away brick by brick.  The foundation remains.  Pastor Rod Parsley showed the massive ruins which are six stories deep and empty.  Now it's bare and naked for observation.  The foundation of any structure is not for general speculation.  It is not usually a decorator's delight., however, it's purpose can't be denied.

The foundation of any endeavor must be sure; strong; dependable; precise; accountable; trustworthy and reliable.  Looking at the foundation of our faith we have Jesus Christ, who meets all of the criteria for a firm foundation.  He doesn't crumble in the storm, he calms it.  He doesn't succumb to the waves in the Sea, he walks on it.  He doesn't leave his people hungry he feeds them.  He doesn't leave His people sick or oppressed He heals and sets free.

The Owner of The Twin Towers and the Chief    Engineer were interviewed in front of the rubble of the Twin Towers which was named "Ground Zero," and The Owner said that he looked on in  horror, but he knew that the Engineer had built the Towers to collapse just as we saw it do.!

The engineering feat had been accomplished.  The foundation opened up and swallowed both of the massive Towers leaving a heap fourteen stories high and a self erected steel beamed cross atop where the Star Spangled Banner was placed showing the victory of the human spirit.  These evidences could not have been had it not been for the     Strategic planner, the Master Builder and the firm foundation.

1Cor 3:10 -11
According to the grace of GOD which is given unto me, as a wise master builder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth there on.  But let every man take heed how he buildeth there upon.  For other foundation can no man lay that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.    KJV

The construction of our faith in Jesus Christ is very much like a the construction of the Twin Towers, or any other building project.   Having Jesus as our foundation we can build a STRONG TOWER, where others can run into and be saved.

The Real Tragedy is not having this foundation when other tragedies occur in our lives.    Having Jesus Christ, we'll know that He is a reliable and strong  - firm foundation.  He will open His arms and allow us to collapse .   He will never turn us away.  He says, "Come unto me all ye that labor and are heavy laden and I will give you rest."[ Matt. 11:28]  He is able to withstand all of the attacks of the enemy.  He is able to withstand all the trials and temptations.  He leads us away from evil and into His Kingdom.

On that day - 911- the souls who belonged to Him were plucked out of the flames, like ripened fruit from the tree of life.  He gathered them under His great wing and escorted them to their   Mansions in Heaven.

The Real Tragedy is that there were others who put off salvation because they just knew that they would have another chance to give their lives to Jesus.

The Real Tragedy is that there were renegade pilots who  had been trained to think they were doing the thing which would open the gates of a new, eternal and pleasuristic life.      They had  not regarded the  Good News of the Firm Foundation.

The Real Tragedy is to live this life, which GOD gave to you, to collapse and die, "It is given to man once to die..."; and IN NOT TO HAVE JESUS!    "...AND THEN THE JUDGEMENT"

THAT'S THE REAL TRAGEDY!

NOTEWORTHY:

We got together and thought it would be interesting to add greater insight to "Positive People"
While God the Great Shepard gave us, and allowed is to learn the wonderful philosophies of the ,  world, and the system in which we live, our challenge as Christians is not so much as to "believe in ourselves", but to "Believe upon the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and we shall be saved." [Acts 15:11]

IN THE MIRROR;

HOPE

In the deep caverns of thought,
Time and memory,
Carved indelibly,
Without words;
THE SOUND...
The s-i-g-h-t!
September 11, 2001
But when the last  teaspoon of tragedy is removed...
HOPE, which was never broken, battered, bombed, or bruised,
Will POUR out the first drop of LOVE and FAITH
For a new and firm foundation.
